CHILDREN POLICY

• A maximum of one child under 6 years of age may stay free of charge when sharing the existing bed with an adult.
• Children from 6 to under 12 years of age are subject to a surcharge of VND 350,000 per child, per night. An extra bed is mandatory for a second child.
• Children aged 12 years and above are considered adults and are required to use an extra bed in accordance with LaChateau Hotel’s policy.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT POLICY

• Official check-in time is after 3:00 PM, and official check-out time is before 11:00 AM.
• Early check-in may be arranged subject to room availability and applicable charges:
  • A surcharge of 50% of the room rate applies to early check-in after 6:00 AM.
  • A surcharge of 100% of the room rate applies to early check-in before 6:00 AM.
• Late check-out may be arranged subject to room availability and applicable charges:
  • A surcharge of 50% of the room rate applies to late check-out before 6:00 PM.
  • A surcharge of 100% of the room rate applies to late check-out after 6:00 PM.
• Guests are required to present valid identification at the Front Office upon check-in, such as a Vietnamese Citizen Identity Card, or a passport accompanied by a valid Permanent Residence Card or entry/exit visa.
• All guests staying in the room must be registered at the Front Office. Guests are kindly requested to stay in accordance with the registered guest list and assigned room number. Should a room change be required, please contact the Front Office for assistance.

PAYMENT POLICY

• Full payment of the reservation value is required upon confirmation of the booking.
• Guests are responsible for payment of the full value of all rooms confirmed, including service charges and value-added tax (VAT).
• The accepted currency is Vietnamese Dong (VND).

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the check-in date: No cancellation fee.
• Cancellations made within 7–14 days prior to the check-in date: 50% of the total reservation value will be charged.
• Cancellations made within 3–7 days prior to the check-in date: 70% of the total reservation value will be charged.
• Cancellations made within 72 hours prior to arrival, or in the event of a no-show: 100% of the total reservation value will be charged.

HOTEL REGULATIONS

• An in-room safe is provided for the safekeeping of cash and valuables. Guests may also deposit valuable items in the safe available at the Front Desk. Please ensure that the room door is securely locked before sleeping or leaving the room. Hotel Management shall not be held liable, under any circumstances, for the loss of or damage to guests’ personal belongings in the room or elsewhere on the hotel premises, including loss resulting from theft.
• Please refrain from hanging clothing or other items on the balcony in order to maintain the overall appearance of the hotel.
• Guests are kindly requested not to bring the following items onto the hotel premises:

1. Animals, birds or other pets.
2. Weapons, toxic substances, flammable or explosive materials, or any items that may pose a risk to human life or property.
3. Illegal drugs or any goods prohibited by law.
4. Strong-smelling items, foods with strong odours, or items likely to cause stains, including durian, mangosteen and similar products. Such food items may be deposited at the luggage storage area.

• Guests are kindly requested to inspect the room facilities and equipment upon check-in.
• Room furnishings, equipment and other items must not be moved to another guest room or other areas of the hotel.
• In the event of damage to or loss of hotel property, guests are required to compensate the hotel in accordance with the applicable “Compensation Price List”. For equipment or items not included in the list, compensation will be determined based on the prevailing market price of a new equivalent item or the actual repair cost, including materials and labour.
• To ensure the safety and security of all guests, unregistered visitors are not permitted to remain in guest rooms. If you are expecting visitors, please inform the Front Desk so that an appropriate reception area may be arranged. Visitors are not permitted to remain at the hotel between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
• All guest rooms are strictly non-smoking. If evidence of smoking is detected, a deodorising and cleaning charge of VND 10,000,000 will apply for each occurrence.
• Fireworks, cooking and ironing are not permitted in guest rooms.
• Guests are kindly requested to keep the volume of electronic devices at a reasonable level and minimise noise during quiet hours from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Gatherings involving eating, drinking or other activities that cause excessive noise are not permitted in guest rooms, corridors or other public areas where they may disturb other guests.
• To ensure the safety, security and proper operation of the hotel, LaChateau reserves the right to refuse service or require a guest to leave the hotel under any of the following circumstances:

1. Intentionally exceeding the maximum permitted room occupancy.
2. Causing disorder or disturbing other guests.
3. Using illegal drugs or prohibited addictive substances.
4. Having a communicable disease.
5. Damaging, destroying or otherwise adversely affecting the reputation or property of other guests or the hotel.
6. Using the hotel premises for unlawful purposes.
7. Engaging in gambling, smuggling, prostitution or any other conduct contrary to law or public morality.
8. Refusing to comply with regulations issued by LaChateau Hotel for the purpose of maintaining proper hotel operations and management.

In the event of a violation of these rules and regulations, in addition to any applicable compensation obligations stated above, LaChateau Hotel reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the accommodation agreement without refunding or compensating any amount already paid.
